On Saturday 26th April 2014, Holman-Climax Male Voice Choir braved the wind and rain  to sing to the crowds assembled to celebrate Trevithick Day in Camborne.

In the morning, at 11am the Choir under the direction of our Musical Director Angela Renshaw sang a selection of Cornish songs and some newer Choir pieces in  Commercial Square, just after a heavy rain storm had abated.

In the afternoon, at 1pm this time under the direction of Andrew Thomas – Deputy Musical Director, the choir sang on the steps of the old Chapel which is now Costa Coffee. We thank Costa Coffee for allowing us to shelter under their large parasols whilst we were singing when the heavens opened.

The rain however did not dampen the Choir spirits and both performances attracted a large and enthusiastic audience who joined in with some of the singing.
