As part of its continuing efforts to break new ground and appeal to a wider audience, Holman-Climax Choir is engaged on making a DVD.

This will not merely be a film of the choir singing but will tell the story of “Cornwall the land I love” – the title of the DVD.

The choir has been filmed singing selected pieces and location filming to fit the commentary is almost complete.

Recently, for example, the launch of the new Lizard lifeboat was filmed to accompany the story of Cornwall’s close connection with the sea and it features choir member, John Harris who has had a lifetime of service to the choir.

It is hoped the DVD will be available in early December and should appeal to those of Cornish descent worldwide as well as being appropriate to the domestic market.
