This weekend is rather busy for Holman-Climax Male Voice Choir as we are competing in Camborne Music Festival on Saturday 16th November 2013 and have a Concert at Trewoon the following day. In preparation for the festival we have an extra rehearsal on Tuesday plus our usual rehearsal on Friday. This however pales into insignificance compared with what our Musical Director Angela Renshaw has on this week!

Angela is taking us for our extra rehearsal on Tuesday then on Wednesday 13th November 2013 she is taking the newly formed Cornwall Girls’ Choir to London to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in the Music For Youth Schools’ Prom Concert. They are travelling up Wednesday morning and returning home after the Concert arriving back in Cornwall in the early hours of Thursday morning. We wish the Cornwall Girls’ Choir well in their concert and know that they will perform brilliantly and find the day to be a wonderful and magically experience albeit a rather tiring one.

On her return on Thursday,  Angela is taking her School Choir to compete at Camborne Music Festival. Then on Friday, Angela will be at the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth for BBC Children in Need where she will lead the 200 strong children’s choir which will sing live on regional television appearing on BBC Spotlight at 1:30pm and 6:30pm and then combined with other choirs across the UK for a national choral performance during the national BBC Children in Need Programme on BBC One.

Best of luck Angela and to your School Choir, Cornwall Girls’ Choir and the Children in Need Choir.
